Prof. Igors Solomatins

He graduated from the Medical Institute in Riga, Latvia, and has studied in Ukraine, Russia, Canada, India, USA, Germany, and Spain. Prof. Solomatin has more than 25 years of clinical experience. He was a head of the Ophthalmology Department in the I. Clinical Hospital of Riga. One of his working fields is in scientific advancement – he has made substantial contribution to many scientific publications in the literature dedicated to laser eye surgery. Prof. Solomatin regularly gives presentations at international conferences and lectures students of the medical faculty at the Latvian University.
